It’s funny that I sometimes feel that the word profit in private practice is a dirty word. I learned rather quickly when it was more than just me on the team, that my private practice had to generate a profit. If all we did was cover our expenses, we’d be out of business and helping no-one.
I have to re-invest in my therapists and the tools we use to deliver therapy, and that takes profit. I won’t tell you the three secrets of success shared in this eBook, but I will tell you that I adhere to #1 and #3 because they both mean better outcomes for our clients. I have learned that people will not pay for a service if it doesn’t help them...and help them quickly! People will not tolerate a waste of their time and money, and that make us, in private practice, better clinicians in my experience.
