Shannon McGeachy BScKin., MScOT., OTRegNB graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2015 and continued her education at the University of Alberta for her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2017.
Shannon has experience working with clients experiencing physical, cognitive, and mental health barriers in the hospital and community settings. Shannon has assisted people with home safety, equipment and wheelchair prescription, hand therapy, cognitive rehab, pressure management, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Shannon is a member of the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and is registered to practice in New Brunswick. Shannon is certified in Workwell Functional Capacity Evaluations, Motivational Interviewing level 1, and Trauma-Informed Care levels 1-3. Shannon’s areas of interests include ergonomics, return to work, assistive technology, and cognitive rehabilitation.
