Introducing #OT Muse
With each passing year, I find my growing network of fellow OT colleagues to be an incredibly deep reservoir of personal and professional stories, case histories, resources and experiences. And through social media, these discussions are not just local, but worldwide. It’s a thrilling adventure to participate and learn from so many occupational therapists. We share the hardships, we share the successes and we share the fun and funny!
Sometimes all we need is a new insight, a different way of looking at a challenge that provides us with a much better solution and outcome for our clients. And with a network of OTs to draw on using Social Media; to ask questions and share experiences, resources, ideas and humour, we can leverage these discussions that may have been between just two OTs to reach hundreds, if not thousands of OTs across the globe.
It’s with this in mind that I’m introducing #OT Muse. Each Monday, I’ll post and tweet very short questions, recommendations, or something fun and funny to get the conversation started. Follow and participate in the conversation with Twitter, and Facebook.
I look forward to hearing from you in the weeks and months to come. Together we can create an incredibly valuable online resource for all OTs.
