The Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC 2011) is a great tool for occupational therapists. In particular when completing job site analysis(JSA) or labour market surveys (LMS) for clients, I always use this site. For JSAs or LMS’ because it provides the extra detail I need to make those assessments and reports outstanding for my clients.
The NOC 2011 organizes over 40,000 job titles into 500 occupational group descriptions and provides details about each job and occupational group. The latest NOC was published in 2011 and is next expected to be updated in 2016. Just out of curiosity, take a peek at 3143 “occupational therapists”!
