Stephanie Weir BSc., BSc.O.T., OT(c), OTReg.(NB) graduated with distinction from Dalhousie University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and from Acadia University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
She has worked with children in Alberta, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, in both hospital and community settings. Stephanie is a member of the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and is registered to practice in New Brunswick.
She is trained in ABC boum! a multi-sensory handwriting method as well as Handwriting without Tears, used by millions of students worldwide. Stephanie is also trained in Therapeutic Listening®, a research-based tool for treating people of all ages who have difficulty processing sensory information, listening, attention, and communication. She is also certified in Micropoint stimulation pain therapy.
Stephanie provides occupational therapy services to children and young adults with physical, cognitive and mental health challenges in English and French (spoken) in greater Moncton, New Brunswick. Stephanie joined our team in 2010.
