Paula Green BSc.O.T., OT(c), OT Reg.(NB), OT Reg. (NS) graduated from Dalhousie University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy.
She is the recipient of the 2015 Nova Scotia Society of Occupational Therapy Award of Excellence for clinical practice and significant contribution to community. Paula was a key organizer of Life Rolls On Martinique Beach 2014 & 2016, an adapted surfing event for people with mobility disabilities. Her role entailed partnering with government and nongovernmental organizations to improve public wheelchair access to beaches along the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia and securing more than $50 000 in funding towards improved accessibility and access to equipment.
Paula is trained is a Wheelchair Skills Program Certified Instructor. She is a also a published author in OT Now (Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists). Paula is also certified in the Physical Work Performance Evaluation (PWPE) and Workwell Functional Capacity Evaluation.
She is a member of the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists, the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and is registered to practice in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Paula provides occupational therapy services to adults and seniors with physical, cognitive and mental health challenges at home, school and work in English and French in greater Moncton, New Brunswick. She joined our team in 2018.
