Owner and founder of tOTal ability: Christel K. A. Seeberger BSc.O.T., OT(c), OTR, OTReg.(NB), graduated in 1993 from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has since practiced in Quebec, Maine, Florida and New Brunswick with clients of all ages in all settings: home, school, work, private clinic, hospital, daycare, summer camp, special care home and nursing home. Christel is a member of the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists, the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists, The American Associationa of Occupational Therapists and is registered to practice in New Brunswick and certified to practice in the United States. Christel is the owner of TOTAL ABILITY, the Christel K. A. Seeberger Professional Corporation Inc., a business she launched in 2002 to share her passion for occupational therapy with the world. Christel was honored with the Evalyn Fleiger award by NBAOT in 2007. She completed her first marathon in 2002 for Team Diabetes to honor the memory of her mother. Christel is also a bi-weekly columnist for KV Style Magazine.
Mylène Boisvert BSc.O.T., OT Reg.(NB) graduated in 1998 from Laval University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has worked as a clinician and case manager in Québec, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Japan. Her work has permitted her to explore occupational therapy in both mental and physical health with paediatric, geriatric, and adult clientele. Mylène is a member of the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and is registered to practice in New Brunswick. She has been a certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner of the U.S. Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association since 2003. Mylène provides services in English and French.
Tanya Browne BSc.O.T., OT(c), OTReg.(NB) graduated from Dalhousie University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has worked in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and London, England and has been a Clinical Interventionist with the Early Autism Program in Nova Scotia. Tanya is a member of the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and is registered to practice in New Brunswick. Tanya provides services in English and French.
Chelsea Donaldson MSc.O.T, BSc., OT(c), OTReg.(NB) graduated from Dalhousie University in 2008 with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has worked in New Brunswick with a clientele across the lifespan. Chelsea is trained in Matheson Functional Capacity Evaluation and the Assessment of Motor Process Skills. She is a member of the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and is registered to practice in New Brunswick.
K. Alexa Gauthier BSc.O.T., OT(c), OT Reg.(NB) graduated with high honours from Dalhousie University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has worked with clients across the lifespan in hospital and the community in Saint John. Alexa won the Maestro Award of Excellence in Outreach as a Kindermusik teacher. She is a member of the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and is registered to practice in New Brunswick. Alexa provides services in English and French.
Melissa Grant BSc. OT, OTReg.(NS) graduated with distinction from Dalhousie University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and from Acadia University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She has worked with clients across the lifespan in a variety of settings in hospitals, home care, transition homes, addiction centres, community Health centres, orphanages and schools in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, New Zealand and Haiti. Melissa is also a proud member of Team Canada Healing Hands, an organization that provides rehabilitation and training in developing nations. Melissa is a member of The College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia, The Nova Scotia Society of Occupational Therapists and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and is registered to practice in Nova Scotia.
Julia Halford BSc.O.T., OT(c), OT Reg.(NB) graduated with distinction from Dalhousie University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has worked with clients across the life span in Nova Scotia. She also completed an undergraduate fieldwork placement in Australia. Julia is a member of the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and is registered to practice in New Brunswick. Julia just started running and completed her first 10K at Marathon by the Sea 2009.
Lisa Kek BSc.O.T., OT(c), OT Reg.(NB) graduated from the University of Alberta in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has worked as a clinician and supervisor with Horizon Health New Brunswick hospitals in Saint John, New Brunswick. Lisa has specialized Saebo Upper Extremity Orthoses training for post-stroke rehabilitation and had joined team tOTal ability to offer this service to clients across the Maritimes. Lisa is a member of the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and is registered to practice in New Brunswick. Lisa is Assessment of Motor and Process Skills (AMPS) trained and A-One Trained (cognitive-perceptual ADL evaluation). Lisa in an Ironman Tri-Athlete.
April Lambert BSc.O.T., OT(c), OTReg.(NB) graduated on the Dean’s List from Dalhousie University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has worked in Newfoundland, Ontario, and New Brunswick, with clients of all ages in both hospital and community settings. April is a member of the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and is registered to practice in New Brunswick. April is an active community volunteer and a local running-triathlon group member.
Dawn M. Price BSc.O.T., OT(c), OT Reg.(NB) graduated on the Dean’s list from Dalhousie University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has worked in British Columbia and New Brunswick with experience in both hospital and community settings. Dawn has particular clinical experience in paediatrics (neonatal intensive care, preschool and school aged children) in addition to adult practice. She is a member of the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and is registered to practice in New Brunswick. Dawn is Assessment of Motor Process Skills (AMPS) Trained. Dawn came second among women at Marathon by the Sea 2009 and qualified to run the Boston Marathon.
Stephanie Weir BSc., BSc.O.T., OT(c), OTReg.(NB) graduated with distinction from Dalhousie University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and from Acadia University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She has worked with children in Alberta and Nova Scotia in both hospital and community settings. She moved back to her home town in New Brunswick with her husband and two children in May 2010. Stephanie is a member of the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and is registered to practice in New Brunswick. She is trained to administer the Assessment of Motor and Process Skills (AMPS).
